This is a reminder about our session on Tuesday 14 June – “Social Skills for children with ADHD”.
This session comes as a result of parental requests for support and information on this tricky issue.
ADHD can make it difficult for your child to concentrate and pay attention in school, but it affects more than just academics; ADHD can impact social skills as well.
We have invited consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist, Dr Teresa Lax-Pericall to our group. She works for the NHS and The Priory Clinic specialising in ADHD and social skills, amongst other concerns.
Also, there will be a chance to sign up for our 5 workshops, so bring cash cheques and diaries along too for:
- Anger
- Homework strategies for parents
- Mindfulness practice taster
- Understanding your child’s sensory and processing needs Occupational therapy half day workshop.
- Working with family dynamics. Calming troubled waters
Looking forward to seeing you all. As usual I will be at Bills Restaurant, below Russell Cooke, by the river from 9 until 10:30 for anyone with pressing questions! Val
